about Lara Narayani
Her work is dedicated to awakening of self and others in harmony with nature to experience the fullness of our potential as humans on this beautiful planet. Pooling from a variety of traditional teachings, the heart of her work is a combination of seeing the truth of what is while loving eachother in order to heal ourselves. Thus; we can truly discover our radiant spiritual nature living inside us, and ultimately create peace on Mother Earth
Lara Narayani began meditation in 1993 and soon learned she was here to bring healing as part of her life's mission. She began doing ceremonies and attending World Peace gatherings in the early 90's. In 1997, she attended the prestigious Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy in New York City and immediately flowed into the massage field with joy. In 1999, she became certified as an Integral Yoga instructor and was initiated into the lineage in 2001 at Yogaville in Virginia. She has studied Ayurveda with a variety of teachers, mostly through the lineage of the world renowned, Dr. Vasant Lad. She is licensed to practice Massage Therapy in 3 states, is a member of ABMP and a certified CE provider in Ayurvedic Massage. Narayani is also a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula.
She met Lania Desmond in 2002 after a spiritual awakening and became an EssenceWork practitioner in 2006 under Lania's guidance. Narayani now offers energy healing long distance and in person. Narayani's has found her emotional heart opening through studying traditional African music and dance and loves the stregnth and devotion from traditional movement forms. She is presently offering workshops, doing healing work for Hospice Patients, seeing private massage clients and writing a book and consciousness and healing while living in Santa Cruz, California. Narayani also facilitates workshops and retreats through Love of Life Institute, which she is co-directs with Ammora Grace.
